[ERROR]: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.

While configuring Apache Hadoop, we may often come-across below error message:
[ERROR]: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.
To fix this run the below command as root user:

sudo pkexec env DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY gedit
